A small company that finishes things
Launchbench Ltd was set up in August 2026 to build and sell software properly: paid for by the people who use it, with no advertising, no tracking and nothing sold on.
How we work
Every one of these started the same way: a job that needed doing, and nothing on sale worth what it cost — sometimes because the tools were poor, sometimes because the good ones were priced for organisations with a budget line for software. Several are in progress at once — but none of them ships until it does the job it was started for, and none of them exists because it seemed like a good idea at the time.
We build for the United Kingdom first. That is a decision about doing one market properly rather than four badly: prices in pounds, MOT and road tax rather than a generic "inspection", and support in a timezone where somebody is awake.
What we will not do
We do not sell data, and there is nothing in any of these products that collects it for that purpose. Where an app can do its job without sending anything anywhere, it does — Odo works entirely offline and has no account unless you want one.
We do not paywall something that used to be free, and we do not lock people out of their own records when a subscription lapses. Export stays free in everything we make.
